07.03.08 Animate Your .gifs
Ta Daa! No the website isn't finished, silly. That would be amazing though wouldn't it. instead I have resigned myself to these funny little updates every time I do something significant on the webby. So what is the significance? Well I have completely customized my lightbox feature for the portfolio of images that are popping up in my "
art" section. That is what is great about lightbox. The user has complete control over the look and feel of the display. the last little bit of configuration was making the animated .gif that you see as the preloader before the images pop up. Animated .gifs are a really simple to make with Photoshop CS3. Here are the links to "

animated .gif" tutorials that helped me. Love you all and I will be updating until the END OF TIME!!! LOL

06.27.08 getting there
I have added more to the "
art" section. You will now see that "ILLUSTRATIONS" are starting to populate and the "LOMOGRAPHY" portion of the art page has grown lots since the first post about the new construction. In addition there is also some functioning PHP on the "
contact" page. Hooray! So if you happen to check out the site go to "
contact" and let me know what you think so far. I am making no promises on the launch or completion but I am hoping to have most everything in place by the beginning of July.

the webby... is underconstruction
Hello everyone. So it has been some time since I have had www.kcskinner.com up and running. I decided to tear down the old site as it was a constant reminder to me that I wasn't a very good web designer three years ago. It seemed to resonate as a separate art piece instead of a functional portfolio. Those days are over and I am no longer lamenting the destruction of what once was. I have learned a few tricks since the year 2005 and I am getting anxious to show them off. In the coming weeks I will be peacmealing the site together. Stay tuned and in the meantime check out the "
art" link for a sneak preview of things to come...
